For optimal candle performance please follow the care instructions listed below.
Trim your wick to 1/8”-1/4” prior to every burn.
On the first burn, allow the wax to create a full melt pool consuming all wax on the sides of the container. A full melt pool is normally achieved between 3-4 hours.
If you ignore this step, there is a high possibility that your candle will tunnel and shorten the life of your candle.
During the burning process, carbon will build up on the wick of your candle and may cause mushrooming. Prior to re-lighting, ensure to re-trim your wick back to 1/8”-1/4”. This will minimize soot, mushrooming, and carbon buildup on your wick.
For a longer lasting candle, do not let you candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
In very rare cases, different climates and temperatures can cause your candle to sweat while not lit. Simply either wipe off the excess moisture or burn your candle to remove.
Finally, certain fragrances can create rusting on the inside of the 6oz candle tins. This is normal and will not impact the quality of you candle.
However, failure to follow the provided care instructions can decrease both the quality and life of your candle.
